Early Voting Has Begun, Ends May 8th
Though election day is actually May 12th, San Antonians wishing to express themselves through the electoral process can vote now. Early voting started May 1st and ends May 8th, giving you six more days (as of the date of this post) to get out and make your voice heard early.
A few things to know about the early voting process:
- The last day to request a mail ballot is Friday, May 4th
- Local (City Council and Mayor), county, Secretary of State and bond issues are all on the ballot
- You must be registered to vote. If you are not sure about your voter registration status, call 210-335-VOTE to find out

It is a very helpful tool that gives you a list of polling places by zip code. It also has a sample ballot available so you can familiarize yourself with what you will see on election day.
